Why we started PawFit
It started on a rainy Tuesday morning. Our founder, a lifelong dog lover, watched his rescue greyhound slip his collar for the fourth time in a single walk. The frustration wasn't just about the escape — it was about the lack of a genuinely well-designed alternative.
The market had two extremes: cheap hardware-store harnesses that chafed and slipped, or expensive fashion pieces that prioritised looks over function. Nothing bridges the gap between thoughtful engineering and everyday affordability.
So we built it ourselves. Two years of prototyping, feedback from vets, trainers, and over 400 real dogs later — the PawFit Escape-Proof was born.
